This policy covers winstonops.com, the pages you are reading now. What happens to your tenants' records inside the Winston Ops console is a separate and longer answer, and it is written out in full on how we keep your data safe.

What we collect on this website

Very little, because there is nothing on this site to fill in. There are no forms, no advertising pixel, no Facebook tag, no Google Analytics and no cross-site tracking.

• If you email us. Whatever you put in the email, which is your name, your address and whatever you choose to tell us.
• If you call the demo line. The demo number on this site is a working Winston Ops line. It answers, it transcribes what is said, and the call may be recorded. Every call opens by telling you so before you say anything. Treat it as a demonstration and do not read out anything confidential.
• Server logs. Our host records standard technical information for every visit, including your IP address, browser type and the pages you requested. This is normal for any website and we use it only for security and troubleshooting.

Who else sees it

We do not sell your personal information. We have never sold it and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

We use service providers to run this site, and your information passes through them:

• Netlify, which hosts this site.
• Google, which holds our email, and Google Fonts, which serves the typefaces here. Your browser requests those from Google directly, which means Google receives your IP address when the page loads.
• Our phone and AI providers, which carry and transcribe a call you place to the demo line. They are named on the data page.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Emails and demo calls are kept for as long as we may reasonably need them for the business relationship, and then deleted on request. If you want something gone sooner, ask and we will delete it.

Your rights in California

If you are a California resident, the CCPA and CPRA give you the right to know what personal information we have collected about you, the right to have it deleted, the right to correct it, and the right not to be discriminated against for asking. We do not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of, but you may still ask. Email [email protected] and we will answer.

Children

This site is for property owners and managers. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes we will change the date at the top of this page. If the change is a significant one we will say so rather than leave you to spot it.
